With just these 2 stoneware pieces, you can serve your cake on a pedestal or flip it over to serve your favorite dips beautifully. One side of the large round platter is flat and glazed, so it makes a perfect cake plate atop the inverted dip bowl, which becomes the pedestal. When you flip the two pieces over, you have a lovely dip bowl and serving platter for crudités, chips and dip, or charcuterie. This set comes with a silicone ring to cushion and secure the pieces in the cake plate or chip and dip formation.
