Apple Streusel Bars

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 eggs, beaten



  • 6 large Granny Smith apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1½ tsp nutmeg





  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all pastry ingredients except for eggs. Use a pastry blender or two forks to form mixture into small crumbs. Gently mix in eggs. 
  2. Pour ⅔ of the mixture into the bottom of your temp-tations® 13x9 baker. Press down with your hands to form a solid crust. Set aside. 
  3. Peel apples and slice them into ¼-inch wedges. Place in a mixing bowl along with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg and toss to combine. Spread out over crust. 
  4. Sprinkle the top with the remaining ⅓ pastry crumbs. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 1 hour. Cool completely before slicing.
