Baked Brie Ramekins

Baked Brie Ramekins Appetizer on a serving platter

APPETIZER

Yield:  4 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2, 8 oz wheels of brie cheese, cut into quarters 
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans 
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary 
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • Dried cranberries for garnish 
  • 3 apples  
  • 1 pear 
  • Crackers or slices of baguette 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400°F.
  2. Gather up 4-8oz ramekins.
  3. Cut each wheel of brie into 4 pieces, score the edge of the rind part using a paring knife. 
  4. Place 2 pieces of brie, scored side up  into each ramekin. 
  5. Spread 2 Tbsp fig jam over the scored part of the brie. 
  6. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp pecans on top of the jam. 
  7. Take a few rosemary leaves and place on top of the pecans. 
  8. Cover each ramekin with parchment first, than foil.  
  9. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. 
  10. Slice your apples and pear, arrange on a platter. *add some of the crackers or bread if you want. (You can layer some or all of the ramekins into the platter.)
