INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups Buttermilk pancake mix
- 1-1/4 cup Water
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup Pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp maple extract
- 3 cups Powdered sugar
- 4 crispy bacon strips, crumbled (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, mix pancake mix and water.
- Scoop into a lined cupcake pan, about 2 Tbsp each.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- While the cupcakes are baking, add butter, maple syrup & extract into a large bowl.
- Beat for approx. 2 minutes with a stand or hand mixer until combined. Slowly add powdered sugar until the mixture is creamy.
- Cool completely then frost cupcakes with maple buttercream using an icing spatula or piping bag.
- Sprinkle tops with chopped bacon & enjoy!
