Chicken Skewers Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 4-6 boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 ½-inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Dash cayenne
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Skewers

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a non-reactive bowl or plastic bag, combine oil, garlic, wine, lime juice, and spices. Add chicken pieces and marinate 2-12 hours in fridge.
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water. Add chicken to skewers.
  3. When ready to cook, you can either use your outdoor grille or an indoor grille pan. Cook chicken for 12-15 minutes, turning once. These will also work well in the air fryer at 400ºF for 8-10 minutes.
