Orange Cream Mimosa

Glasses of champagne with mimosa

BRUNCH / BEVERAGES

Yield: Approximately 8 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ½ cups orange juice
  • 1 orange zested
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 cup superfine sugar
  • 1 bottle champagne

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place orange juice, zest, half and half, and sugar into a blender and process until sugar has dissolved. Pour this mixture into a shallow pan and freeze until hard about 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Remove the frozen orange mixture from the freezer and let soften slightly.
  3. Using a scoop or tablespoon scrape out a small scoop and place it into a champagne glass. Slowly fill the glass with champagne.
  4. Serve garnished with strawberries
