
PASTA
Yield: 4 servings
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. pasta
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb. Italian sausage, bulk (if links, remove from casings)
- 12 ounces frozen peas
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 4 Tbsp butter
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Prepare pasta according to package directions, retaining ½ cup pasta water.
- Over medium heat, sauté garlic in olive oil in medium pan.
- Brown sausage in pan, then add peas and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Slowly add butter and cream.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, add pasta water, and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Toss with pasta, then add parmesan.
