  • 1-2 Tbsp basil pesto
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • chili flakes (optional)
  • toasted bread, for serving


  1. Add pesto to a frying pan on medium heat.
  2. Crack eggs and cook to your liking (scrambled, fried, or sunny side up).
  3. Season with salt and pepper to your liking. For extra spice, add a pinch of chili flakes.
  4. Serve with toasted bread.
