Philly Cheesesteak Dip in a Temp-tations Football Baking Dish

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
  • ½ cup thinly sliced yellow or purple onion
  • 1, 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chopped or shredded rotisserie chicken
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese, divided
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Sliced baguette, tortilla chips, or crackers for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced green pepper and onion and sauté until slightly tender, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in the shredded rotisserie chicken, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the sautéed pepper and onion mixture to the cream cheese mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a shallow baking dish and top evenly with half of the shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are lightly browned.
  8. Serve warm with sliced baguette, tortilla chips, or crackers.
