  • 1 Yellow Cake Mix
  • 4 Large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 8 oz crushed pineapple



  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • One box instant vanilla pudding
  • 8 oz crushed pineapple


      1. Spray the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray.
      2. In a large bowl whisk eggs with pineapple juice and oil. Whisk in the cake mix and pineapple until well combined
      3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth top and bake 25 – 3o minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
      4. Cool cake for at least one hour. Do not make frosting ahead of time.  The vanilla pudding will make the frosting stiffen.


    1. In a large bowl beat the cream until it begins to thicken.  Beat in the vanilla pudding until it reaches the desired consistency.  Fold in the pineapple.(hold back ¼ cup for topping).
    2. Smooth evenly over the cake. Top with remining pineapple.
    3. Slice and serve.


Tara'sTip: move treats around occasionally using a spatula or tongs so the treats do not stick to the grill.
