
Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake

INGREDIENTS
Cake:
- 1½ cups flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 2½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Crumb Topping:
- 2 sticks butter, melted and cooled
- 2½ cups flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- Spray and flour a 13x9 temp-tations® baking pan and set aside.
- In a medium bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat egg, milk, oil, and vanilla.
- Add wet ingredients to dry and whisk thoroughly. Fold in chocolate chips and pour into greased 13x9 pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour the melted butter into the mixture and toss with a spatula until large crumbs form.
- Cover the cake evenly with the crumbs.
- Bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 15 minutes. Rotate the pan and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
