INGREDIENTS

 

  • 1 9-inch refrigerated pie crust
  • 1½ sticks unsalted butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tspvanilla
  • ¾ cupflour
  • ½ tspsalt
  • 1 cupchocolate chips
  • ½ cupchopped walnuts, optional
  • 1½ cupsheavy cream
  • 1 cupmini chocolate chips

 

 

Directions

 

  1. Transfer piecrust to a temp-tations® 9" pie dish. 
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars, using an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat until combined. Add vanilla. Using a wooden spoon, stir in flour and salt until well-combined, then gently stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Transfer to the prepared pie shell and bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 60 minutes or until set. 
  4. Place heavy cream in a large temp-tations® bowl and use mixer to whip cream until stiff peaks form. Add mini chips and stir to combine. Serve pie with the chocolate chip cream spread over top, or on the side.
