Ingredients
- 1 Pkg Crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 6 Tbsp confectioners sugar, divided
- ½ tsp almond extract
- Cherry Pie Filling
- 2 tsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Cream together the cream cheese and 1/4 cup confectioners sugar.

Unwrap dough but DO NOT unroll it.

With a very sharp knife cut the roll of dough into 8 slices

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and place dough rounds 2” apart

With a drinking glass, flatten the center of each round, leaving an edge.

In a small bowl mix the cream cheese, 3 tablespoons confectioners sugar and almond extract until smooth.

Evenly place a dollop of cream cheese in the center of each roll, spreading out towards the edge. Top each with at least 1 tablespoon Cherry Pie filling.

Bake in a 375 degree oven 12–15 minutes.

When cooled, mix 3 tablespoons confectioners sugar with 2 teaspoons milk and drizzle over Danish.
