- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 4 eggs, divided
- 2 tsp vanilla extract, divided
- 1 (8oz) package cream cheese
- 4 cups powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Whisk butter, eggs, and 1tsp vanilla in a mixing bowl
- Add in the cake mix, it will be very thick.
- Use a rubber spatula to spread the cake mixture onto the bottom of a buttered 9x13 in baker.
- In another bowl using a hand mixer, or a stand mixer, mix the cream cheese, 2 eggs, and 1tsp vanilla.
- Slowly beat in the powdered sugar until nice and smooth.
- Pour over the cake layer
- Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Cool before serving.
