Italian Style Meatballs

INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. meatloaf mix*
- ½-¾ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ⅓-½ cup milk
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup onion, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ cup grated parmesan or Romano cheese
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium-size bowl combine meat, breadcrumbs, egg, and milk. Add onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings, then stir in parmesan or Romano cheese.
- Roll meatballs about golf-ball size and place on a foil lined temp-tations® Lid-It®. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 25-30 minutes or until browned.
- Place in a pot with your favorite pasta sauce and heat for 15-20 minutes until cooked through. Serve with your favorite pasta.
*This basic recipe can be adapted to your taste. Use all beef or turkey. If using turkey use more milk for moisture. Roll smaller meatballs and add to Italian Wedding Soup or serve as an appetizer.
