Sautéed Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 lb. brussels sprouts
  • ¼ cup high-quality olive oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 small shallot, sliced
  • 1-2 thyme sprigs
  • lemon juice, to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste





  1. Slice sprouts lengthwise. Pat dry.
  2. Heat oil in a temp-tations® sauté pan over medium heat. Add sprouts to pan and allow to caramelize for 5-8 minutes.
  3. Stir sprouts with a wooden spoon. Add garlic, shallots, and thyme and continue to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until sprouts are tender.
  4. Add a squeeze of lemon. Salt and pepper to taste.



A Note from Tara

Growing up I absolutely refused to eat Brussels Sprouts. I’m not sure when my taste buds grew up but today these little green bites of deliciousness have become a favorite.
