Sautéed Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. brussels sprouts
- ¼ cup high-quality olive oil
- 2-3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 small shallot, sliced
- 1-2 thyme sprigs
- lemon juice, to taste
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Slice sprouts lengthwise. Pat dry.
- Heat oil in a temp-tations® sauté pan over medium heat. Add sprouts to pan and allow to caramelize for 5-8 minutes.
- Stir sprouts with a wooden spoon. Add garlic, shallots, and thyme and continue to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until sprouts are tender.
- Add a squeeze of lemon. Salt and pepper to taste.
A Note from Tara
Growing up I absolutely refused to eat Brussels Sprouts. I’m not sure when my taste buds grew up but today these little green bites of deliciousness have become a favorite.
