Yield: 8 servings

Dish Size: Platter

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can sweet corn, drained
  • 1 cup yellow onion, diced
  • ½ can black beans, drained
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans crescent rolls

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brown ground beef in a medium skillet. Drain. Add onions, corn, beans, and taco seasoning and cook 6-8 minutes until onions are translucent. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. On ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange triangles in ring so short sides of triangles form a 5-inch circle in center. Dough will overlap. Dough ring should look like the sun.
  3. Spoon beef mixture on half of each triangle closest to center of ring. Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure. Repeat around ring until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little).
  4. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool 10 minutes before cutting into slices. Serve on a temp-tations® platter.
