Valentine's Day Strawberry Mocktail

  • Total Time: 15 mins
  • Prep Time: 15 mins
  • Yield: 2 flutes

  • ¾ cup strawberry white cranberry juice, chilled.
  • ¾ cup sparkling peach apple juice, or any variety you prefer, chilled.
  • Juice of ½ fresh lime, plus 2 slices for garnish.
  • 6-8 strawberries, rinsed.
  • Seltzer water.
  • Heart shaped fondant or cookie cutters, as small as you can find.
  • 2 champagne flutes

        1. Start by trimming the tops off your strawberries. Cut them in half and lay out cut side down on a cutting board.
        2. Use your cookie cutters to cut little hearts out of the strawberries. The backs of some will be un-even, but you can take a paring knife and carefully even them out if you want.
        3. Slice your lime in half, you are going to use one half for juicing and the other half for garnish. Cut rounds out of the garnish half of the lime.
        4. In a pitcher, combine strawberry white cranberry and sparkling peach apple juice.
        5. Squeeze in the lime juice, stir gently with a wooden spoon.
        6. Place a slice of lime on the rim of each flute, cut into the bottom third of two strawberry hearts and place in front of the lime slice.
        7. Split the juice mixture between the glasses
        8. Top each glass with seltzer.
        9. Drop in a few of the strawberry hearts to each glass.
        10. Enjoy!
