INGREDIENTS
- ¾ cup strawberry white cranberry juice, chilled
- ¾ cup sparkling peach or apple juice, or any variety you prefer, chilled
- Juice of ½ fresh lime, plus 2 slices for garnish
- 6-8 strawberries, rinsed
- Seltzer water
- Heart shaped fondant or cookie cutters, as small as you can find
- 2 champagne flutes
DIRECTIONS
- Start by trimming the tops off your strawberries. Cut them in half and lay them out cut side down on a cutting board.
- Use your cookie cutters to cut little hearts out of the strawberries. The backs of some will be un-even, but you can take a paring knife and carefully even them out if you want.
- Slice your lime in half, you are going to use one half for juicing and the other half for garnish. Cut rounds out of the garnish half of the lime.
- In a pitcher, combine strawberry white cranberry, and sparkling peach apple juice.
- Squeeze in the lime juice, and stir gently with a wooden spoon.
- Place a slice of lime on the rim of each flute, cut into the bottom third of two strawberry hearts, and place in front of the lime slice.
- Split the juice mixture between the glasses
- Top each glass with seltzer.
- Drop a few of the strawberry hearts into each glass.
