Style a BOO-tiful Home

As the leaves start to change color and the weather gets cooler, it's time to start thinking about changing up your home décor for fall. One of the best ways to do this is by incorporating some fun and festive Halloween home decor. From spooky outdoor signs, cozy blankets, and whimsical dinnerware there are plenty of ways to get your home ready for autumn.

So, if you're looking for some inspiration, check out these Halloween home décor ideas! Here are a few of our favorite ideas to help you style a BOO-tiful home.

One of my favorite ways to get into the Halloween spirit is by using themed dinnerware, as seen below. I have lots of different styles and patterns, depending on your theming and personal style. Make a statement at your dinner table every night!

Get creative with your place settings. Layer in pumpkin-shaped appetizer plates with Halloween-themed napkins. Or get really festive and use my Halloween plates and bowls for your main course, and a candy corn-shaped serving plate for your hors d'oeuvres.

Your front door is one of the first things that guests will see when they come to your home, so make sure it's ready for Halloween. If you’re looking for a more subtle way to decorate your front door or walkway to your home for Halloween, you could add a yard sign or a whimsical resin character at your front door. For an extra bit of personality, add cornstalks and create your own fake spider webs and pumpkins for color.

Accent Bowls-they are not just for candy…or are they?

Adding some spooky details throughout your home is a great way to get into the Halloween spirit. There are so many different ways that you can use accent bowls to decorate your home this fall. Whether you fill them with seasonal fruits and vegetables, use them as candy dishes, or get creative with Halloween-themed bowls, they're a great way to add a festive touch to any room in your house.

Place Halloween themed bowls as an accent piece in places like your entry way, the kids room, a guest bathroom, or your family room.

Pumpkin Carving-Making memories with your family

No Halloween decorations are complete without at least one pumpkin! Purchase a few small pumpkins and let each member of your family carve their own design. Then, put them on display by placing them on either side of your front door or lining them up along your driveway. This is also a great activity to do with kids on a rainy afternoon. Not feeling particularly crafty? You can always purchase pre-carved pumpkins at most grocery stores.
